Callout: sex workers needed for testing

I really can’t help my corny humour. Anyway, this is a callout for sex workers open to testing my ideas with low-fidelity prototypes.

I’ve mentioned previously that I don’t want to come into my project with a top-down approach. However, given the short-time frame, I thought it might be worthwhile to trial three prototypes ideas now - that way I’m actively generating data and feedback and I’m not beholden on one stage of the design-thinking process. At the moment, I feel like I’m waiting around and I’m wasting time.

This will hopefully mean I can throw out unworkable ideas early on and have more time to refine prototypes that have more potential.

The benefits of being a tester of prototypes is that you can give direct feedback to how an idea functions, operates and feels in real-life. It means you’re playing an active role in creating the solution you want. If you’re interested in testing the prototypes for my ideas, have a read to see if you meet any of the below requirements.

Please note, given the nature of my work, I can’t go into full details about these prototypes but if you would like to learn more, please contact me.

Prototype 1
- Must be a sex worker who works independently.
- Ideally does a mixture of incall/outcall bookings, but it is okay if you do one more than the other.
- This test will require engagement with the prototype in every work setting.
- Ideally willing to test for 1 or 2 months.
- Feedback ideally given every few weeks.
- Does not matter if you do contact or no-contact sex work or where you live.
- Must operate business primarily through a mobile phone.

Prototype 2
- Does not matter what form of sex work you do, in fact the more forms of sex work, the better.
- Must be willing to share income/expenses.
- If you have up-to-date bookkeeping/accounting, the more years of income/expenses shared, the less time you need to spend testing this prototype.
- If you only share income/expenses from when you test, then the test will aim to be a minimum of three months.

Prototype 3
- Must be an Android phone user.
- Must be based in Australia.
- Must be an independent sex worker.
- Feedback from test will be asked for after every month.
- Ideally, tests lasts for as long as possible.

Your safety, emotional-wellbeing, privacy, confidentiality and fully-informed voluntary consent is important to me. If you decide to test a prototype you can stop testing at any time. I will be providing compensation and you will not have your compensation withheld if you choose to stop testing.
